darkelf

This is the darkelf-overlay featuring awesome .ebuilds for Gentoo Linux.

What is it?

darkelf (from Norse mythology Dǫkkálfar) is an overlay which is focusing on improved user experience for working in darkness on Xfce or zsh (including vim); these features will be collected in a darkelf-meta.ebuild for easier installing.
It also features some new or updated games, developing tools (e.g. emake) and other utilities which can be installed additionally.

Install:

Run as root:

emerge layman
layman -L
layman -a darkelf
emerge -av app-misc/darkelf-meta

Implemented Features:

- x11-themes/darkelf-gtk-themes (gtk-2/gtk-3/xfwm4-themes)
- app-portage/darkelf-features (a script for portage to automatically remove downloaded distfiles after an ebuild is merged)

ToDo:

- create darkelf-meta.ebuild
- create more ebuilds.

Done:

- get an official gentoo git repository
- commit ebuilds
